They are seeking an IT Cybersecurity Specialist to administer and manage the agency's Cloud Service Environment and provide architecture and design support for cloud-based systems and solutions.

Responsibilities

Administering and managing the agency's Cloud Service Environment, Enterprise IT Service Management platform, and various cloud-based applications

Building, configuring, and deploying cloud system resources, servers, and other multi-user devices to support virtual machines, storage, networks, and other off-premises and cloud resources

Providing architecture and design support to create specialized OIG and Agency-wide cloud-based systems and solutions

Identifying inefficiencies and vulnerabilities in IT systems and resources, conducting feasibility studies for enhancements, and suggesting improvements to reduce costs and maximize taxpayer value

Coordinating significant technical matters with representatives of internal and external organizations

Managing accounts, system administration, network rights, and access to systems and equipment

Working with DOJ/OIG business stakeholders to implement solutions that increase agility, flexibility, and durability across diversified landscapes

Developing business process documentation, standard operating procedures, knowledge base articles, technical bulletins, and other documents supporting the IT Division

Specialized Experience GS-14: To qualify for this position at the GS-2210-14 grade level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level obtained in the federal government or private sector

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade level (or equivalent) by the closing date of this announcement
