Responsibilities

Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedule
Set daily / weekly / monthly objectives and communicate to employees
Lead and develop crewmembers, creating equipment and system ownership
Work directly with crewmembers, supervisors, and managers to meet quality goals
Evaluate job performance of quality techs
Ensure all personnel safety and food safety procedures are followed rigorously
Drive continuous improvement of waste elimination
Anticipate problems and make quick decisions under time pressure
Must be able to perform all jobs on the lines and be able to coach others in work
Lead daily direction setting meetings when required
Provide verbal and/or written recommendations to leadership concerning problems or issues

Required

Able to frequently lift and / or move up to 60 pounds
1 year of quality experience in production/manufacturing
Able to work safely in an environment where regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
Able to work safely in an environment when exposed to wet conditions
Able to be certified to operate a forklift or pallet jack
Able to perform quality / procedural checks as well as operate equipment
Proven experience in leadership / supervisory roles
Strong people skills and ability to deal with all levels of employee and management groups, both on site and remote
Demonstrate strong accountability, consistency, and follow-through skills
Must be able to speak, read and write in English for safety and quality reasons
Have knowledge of sets up, operations, adjustments to equipment or machinery
Proficient with: Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and designated inventory systems
Strong planning, organizing, problem solving, math, and communication skills
Strong critical thinking skills

PCQI certification
Allergen Control training
21CFR Part 110 training certification
