Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime
Use CMMS to manage and complete maintenance work orders
Follow all safety protocols and report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately
Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and part catalogs for accurate repairs
Support bi-annual facility shutdowns and occasional call-in maintenance needs
Participate in lean/process improvement initiatives and suggest improvements
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Skilled in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
Proficient in using hand and power tools
Able to read and interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs
Experienced with CMMS or similar maintenance management systems
Strong safety awareness and commitment to following protocols
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Effective communicator and team player
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing frequent bending, squatting, and walking
Comfortable working in noisy, hot, cold, or dusty manufacturing environments
Normal schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
Overtime and call-in work may be required
Preferred
Technical school training or 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
