Responsibilities

Underwrite and manage a portfolio of medium to large commercial accounts, ensuring profitability and alignment with company objectives
Build strong partnerships with independent agents by developing business plans, attending agency visits, and providing responsive, consultative service
Analyze risks, negotiate terms, and make informed underwriting decisions while staying aligned with authority levels and company appetite
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and IT to support growth initiatives, process improvements, and strategic projects
Represent MOE at agency functions and industry events while being a trusted resource for our partners

Required

7+ years of commercial underwriting or related insurance experience
Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex risks
A relationship-builder who thrives on collaboration and delivering excellent service
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with reinsurance practices
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
