Reactor Services Technical Lead

Responsibilities
Effectively direct refuel floor personnel to assure all assigned maintenance activities are performed safely and effectively, by qualified workers, and in accordance with procedures and the CECs schedule
Participate in various aspects of work control coordination, scheduling, and engineering meetings involving online and refuel outage activities, to ensure that assigned work is properly assigned, planned and ready to work
Effectively communicate and address plant and personnel issues to the appropriate levels of Outage Planning & Services (OP&S) and station management. Foster open communications and collaboration between all organizations internal and external to OP&S
Oversee activities to support reactor disassembly and reassembly, coordination of fuel moves, instrumentation, control rod bundle exchange, In-Vessel Visual Inspections and modification services to satisfy contractual obligations to meet project milestones
Understand, support, and administer all OP&S processes, such as the training program, surveillance program, procedure revisions, and corrective action program (CAP) to ensure effective work practices. Identify and support improvement opportunities and development, implementation and performance monitoring of all corporate and clean energy center business goals and objectives
All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) or technical discipline (e.g. chemistry, computer science, mathematics, or physics) with 5 years of industry experience or 3 years of Constellation Reactor Services department experience
Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 5 years of industry experience or 3 years of Constellation Reactor Services experience department
Completion of a Skilled Trade Apprenticeship Program (e.g. boilermaker, operating engineer, pipefitter) with 7 years of related experience or 5 years of Constellation Reactor Services experience
Associate's degree in a technical discipline with 7 years of related experience or 5 years of Constellation Reactor Services experience
High school diploma/GED with 9 years of industry experience or 7 years of Dry Cask Storage related or Constellation Reactor Services experience
Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
Preferred
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) training as applies to discipline in reactor, turbine, or steam generator projects
