Responsibilities
Providing essential technical support and troubleshooting and resolving basic IT issues across various systems and technologies including hardware, software, and network while adhering to internal procedures and guidelines
Assisting end-users with technical issues, performing new equipment setups, and documenting and escalating issues as necessary
Installing and configuring software, applying patches and supporting the maintenance of IT infrastructure such as servers, workstations, and network devices
Monitoring system performance to ensure security and reliability
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Proof of highest level of education completed but not less than high school education or equivalent as recognized by an approved government accreditation association
Associate's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field or equivalent work experience
Basic knowledge of computer maintenance, troubleshooting, and software installation
Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form required
An understanding of computer systems, process design and data management
Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance
Required to have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job
Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds
Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency
Preferred
Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Networking+
Excellent customer service skills
