Part-time Faculty WDCE Data Analytics Instructor

Responsibilities
Deliver hands-on, skills-based instruction aligned with course objectives to adult learners in preparation for industry certification and/or employment in technical roles
Teach courses in-person and/or remotely on weekday evenings or weekends
Collaborate with staff and faculty on curriculum development and updates
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, skills-based instruction aligned with course objectives
Maintain accurate attendance records and submit administrative tasks promptly
Provide students with effective support, communication, and timely feedback
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field OR a bachelor's degree in any field combined with industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Google Data Analytics, CompTIA Data+)
Working knowledge or a combination of training and teaching experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or Data Science
Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Python (Pandas, Matplotlib)
Working knowledge of SQL for querying and managing data in relational databases
Able to teach in person
Strong oral and written communication skills

Passion for supporting learners in achieving their career goals

Faculty members are expected to have access to a personal computer with virus protection that can connect to the internet outside of the work location (i.e., office, classroom, college campus)
Must be eligible to work in the United States without a sponsor
Preferred
Master's degree in a related field
Industry-recognized certifications
Experience teaching adult or non-traditional learners
Experience delivering instruction in hybrid, in-person, and online modalities
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Blackboard)
