Responsibilities

Join a collaborative research project directed at unraveling the mysteries of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and other parenchymal lung diseases
Focus the project in areas such as epithelial biology, immunological networks, metabolomics, epithelial-mesenchymal crosstalk, and/or transcriptomics/proteomics
Utilize novel published models of lung injury and fibrosis
Access a variety of cutting-edge technologies including RNAseq, single cell and ATAC RNAseq, high resolution proteomics, CRISPR mediated screens, lineage tracing, organoid assays, and iPS cells to identify pathways critical for lung tissue repair and regeneration

Required

PhD in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or related Biomedical Fields
Solid background in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics and cell biology
Hands-on experience with animal models, mammalian tissue culture, molecular biology techniques and tissue imaging procedures are required
Excellent record of publications in highly respected international scientific journals

Preferred

Familiarity with advanced imaging techniques, transcriptomic profiling, flow cytometry, and/or bioinformatics is desirable
