Optomi is seeking a visionary and highly technical SailPoint IIQ Architect to lead the design, strategy, and implementation of their enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) ecosystem. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and robust technical solutions, ensuring that the IdentityIQ platform is scalable, secure, and seamlessly integrated across the global infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead the high-level design and architecture of SailPoint IIQ solutions, including LCM, Compliance Manager, File Access Manager, and Predictive Identity

Develop and maintain the IAM roadmap, ensuring the platform evolves to meet changing security threats and business needs

Design and oversee the development of custom connectors and integrations for tiered applications, including HR systems (Workday/SAP), cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), and legacy on-premise systems

Architect complex BeanShell rules, workflows, and policies (SoD) that prioritize automation and minimize manual intervention

Define standards for role-based access control (RBAC), attribute-based access control (ABAC), and identity lifecycle management

Act as the final escalation point for complex technical issues and provide mentorship to developers and IAM engineers

Conduct architectural reviews and performance tuning of the IIQ environment (Java, Tomcat, and SQL Database layers)

Required

8+ years in IAM, with at least 5 years specifically focused on SailPoint IIQ architecture and implementation

Deep expertise in Java/J2EE, BeanShell, XML, and JavaScript

Strong command of SQL (Oracle, MySQL, or MSSQL) and directory services (Active Directory, LDAP)

Experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP)

Proven track record of designing large-scale IIQ deployments (50k+ identities)

Ability to translate 'technical speak' into business value for C-suite stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
