Senior Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer - Aerospace
ACL Digital is seeking a Senior Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer to support Safety & Compliance Investigations. This role involves leading investigations related to FAA compliance issues and working cross-functionally to implement corrective actions and maintain regulatory compliance for product safety.
Responsibilities
Support Safety & Compliance Investigations (S&CI)
Lead and support Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations related to FAA compliance issues, including Letters of Investigation, compliance actions, voluntary disclosures, and Part 25 non-compliances
Work cross-functionally with systems, structures, propulsion, ODA, suppliers, and leadership to identify systemic root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or Chemistry
9+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills
Ability to work with senior leadership, customers, and regulatory agencies
Must be a US Person (Export Control requirement)
Preferred
Experience with RCCA tools (5-Whys, Fishbone) and/or Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM)
Knowledge of FAA regulatory compliance and ODA processes (8100.15)
Experience with commercial aircraft certification, operations, or systems
Prior interaction with FAA or other regulatory agencies
Pilot's license and/or A&P license (desired)
