Server Administrator
NEOGOV is seeking a Server Administrator responsible for designing, installing, administering, and optimizing company servers to ensure high performance of business applications. The role includes managing server availability, configuring new implementations, and developing processes for ongoing server management.

Responsibilities
Assist in design and installation of Active Directory deployments
Configure, install, and maintain the organization's LAN servers and workstations
Provide top-level troubleshooting and diagnostic services for Windows servers
Participate in and support capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for all technologies
Participate in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. A comparable amount of training or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications
At least three years of relevant experience
A valid Florida Driver's license is required
OS systems installation & configuration (Server 2008 – 2012 R2)
Build experience with server 2008 – 2012 R2
WINS, DHCP
FOREST-WIDE DNS - forward & reverse lookup zones/root hints
Active Directory
Active Directory replication
Active Directory trusts
AD OU's Groups, permissions etc
AD configuration of multi-domain forests
AD Replication Topology configuration, Strategy and Settings
Microsoft Clustering (active/passive)
Configuring domain controllers 2008 – 2012 R2
Symantec Backup EXEC
Anti-virus/Anti-Spam Software
Must display strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with all management levels along with good verbal and written communication skills
Must be highly motivated, independent, good at prioritizing, and results oriented
Must be a self-learner who keeps up with technology trends and advances
Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs, and to integrate multiple tools together to solve business problems
Successful as an individual contributor as well as working in a team environment
Solid documentation skills
Must be eager and willing to be trained in VMware and SAN technologies
