They are seeking a motivated and solution-focused Senior Database Administrator to manage day-to-day database administration activities and resolve complex database operations problems within a dynamic DevOps team.

Responsibilities

Organize and control day-to-day database administration/ management activities to include:Database health data collection and analysis, database access and performance analysis

Resolve complex problems by investigating and devising solutions for database operations. May include installations, configuration, tuning and maintenance of database management

Interact with network services, database/software systems engineering and /or applications development in order to restore availability of services and/or identify root cause of complex problems

Define and implement recommendations for complex issues in the area of database management systems

Required

5-7 years of experience in a technical operational support area

Experience working with Oracle Database Enterprise Edition 12.1, 12.2 and 19c

Experience with Partitioning and multi-tenancy options

Experience with Exadata engineered systems and DBs hosted on RHEL systems

Experience with DataGuard for Disaster Recovery (DR)

Experience with GoldenGate for data replication

Experience with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)

Experience with Database Vault for stricter access control

Experience with Advanced analytics including Oracle R

Knowledge of any of these CICD technology: Jenkins, Ansible, Docker

Good knowledge of IT security, mainly in the DBA area

University degree in computer science or related field

Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Autonomous, driven, with strong ability to quickly adapt and respond to change

Customer oriented and quality mindset
