DevSecOps Engineer

They are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support the United States Space Force by deploying and executing Modeling and Simulation software in automated environments.

Responsibilities
Developing containerization and DevSecOps pipelines for M&S software
Capture requirements for existing MS&A tools like AFRL's AFSIM, or SMDC's EADSIM to execute in a cloud/containerized environment
Automate provisioning and configuration of build/test environments for Linux and Windows
Test and benchmark the execution of software in a DevSecOps environment
Manage the DevSecOps toolchain (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, artifact repositories, deployment tools, etc)
Prepare and present reports, briefings, and conclusions
Brief and interact with senior-level officers (i.e., GO/FLAG) and senior civilians
Lead requirements development and documentation for distributed M&S architectures
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related STEM field (master's degree highly preferred)
5+ years software engineering, networking engineering, or infrastructure engineering including hardware/software integration
Active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position
DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+ or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in at least one of the following: Software engineering, Cloud architecture, Network and IT systems engineering
Proficient in Java, C++, python, typescript or a closely related language
Proficient with shell scripting languages like Bash, AWK, sed, Perl, Python
Strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze data
IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) and config management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, DSC)
Linux and Windows server hardening & compliance (RMF/STIG)
Expertise using the Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially when communicating technical information to audiences with varying backgrounds
