Responsibilities
Providing clerical and administrative support to the Town Planner and Community Planning Commission
Reviewing documents for accuracy
Preparing correspondence and reports
Maintaining calendars
Scheduling meetings
Preparing and posting meeting notices and agendas
Assembling materials
Attending all Commission meetings to take minutes in compliance with the Open Meeting Law
Managing meeting logistics, including unlocking/locking the building, setting up rooms, and coordinating hybrid meeting technology
Obtaining and maintaining Notary Public status to notarize official documents
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Additional training in clerical or business practices, or two years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of office procedures
Ability to work effectively with staff, other departments, and the public
Notary Public status to notarize official documents
