Faculty Affairs Student Assistant (Work-Study)
The University of Utah Health Research is seeking a detail-oriented Work-Study Student Assistant to support its Faculty Affairs team within the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences. The role involves coordinating faculty hiring processes, maintaining confidential records, assisting with onboarding documents, and facilitating communication between faculty and university administration.

Responsibilities
Track and organize faculty recruitment materials and hiring checklists
Assist with preparing offer letters and memos using templates
Support onboarding processes, including license and credentialing submissions
Communicate with faculty, staff, and university offices in a professional manner
Maintain databases and spreadsheets to track progress on faculty appointments
Help draft and format internal documents, reports, and emails
Assist with digital file management and scheduling tasks
Other administrative duties as assigned to support the Faculty Affairs Director
Assists in any social media or internet postings
Qualification
Required
Must be a current University of Utah student approved for Federal Work-Study
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with confidential information with discretion
Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Interest in learning about academic administration and health sciences
Preferred
Experience with Google Forms, DocuSign, or Microsoft Planner is a plus
Previous administrative or office support experience preferred
Familiarity with academic or clinical environments a plus
