Responsibilities

Experience and skills in communications, public relations, and/or journalism at the DoD and/or service component Headquarters level

Proficiency with social media and ability to develop and carry out social media communication strategies

Ability to write and create presentations quickly and meet deadlines; ability to communicate to different audiences using multiple applications

Ability to explain complex subject matter in compelling, plain English

Ability to work effectively and independently on multiple projects

Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in English, Journalism, or Communications is required

Seven (7) years' experience in communications and public affairs

Must have a Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance for all tasks and maintain eligibility for the life of their tenure on this contract

Preferred

Graduate degree in communications, journalism, or media, is preferred

Experience in a communications role for another technical organization is highly desired
