Client Relationship Consultant - Group Benefits (Indiana or Southeast Chicago)

Principal Financial Group is seeking a Client Relationship Consultant in Group Benefits who is motivated and ambitious. In this role, you will partner with the Sales team and Brokers to develop and implement customized strategies while delivering outstanding service and managing an assigned block of in-force group business.

Required

Bachelors degree or equivalent
Must be able to acquire and maintain all required state licenses within 90 days
Must have excellent persuasion, interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, presentation, listening, and oral/written communication skills, as well as analytical skills
Advanced math skills required with basic skills related to graphs, symbols, equations, etc
Maintain accuracy while being detail oriented
Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
Travel required (approx. 25%), including overnight stays and time out in the market in face-to-face contact with customers and brokers

Preferred

4+ years related experience (group benefits and/or account management experience preferred)
Active life/health license preferred
Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of business unit applications preferred
