Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of the property, including the building perimeter, hallways, and stairwells
Monitor surveillance cameras and report suspicious activity
Respond to disturbances and emergencies as needed
Coordinate resident moves and ensure common areas are protected
Operate the elevator control system to direct visitors to the correct floors
Greet residents, guests, and visitors at the kiosk in a welcoming manner
Answer phones and provide information to callers
Maintain the appearance of the lobby, elevators, and package room
Assist residents with package delivery and retrieval
Document discrepancies, incidents, and emergency responses
Complete daily activity reports and pass-on logs
Maintain inventory of forms, supplies, and other items
Adhere to HOA rules, regulations, and emergency procedures
Understand and implement emergency procedures
Report complaints and non-compliance issues to management
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Must be 18 years of age and be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required
Physical ability to stand and sit for extended periods
Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds as needed

Preferred

A minimum of 1 year of security or relevant experience is preferred
Skilled problem solver with high attention to detail and a high sense of ethics and honesty
Ability to respond swiftly to safety and emergency related situations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
General computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and the ability to learn and operate the property management software utilized by Action Property Management
