Responsibilities

Maintain accurate accounting records to support timely month-end and year-end close processes
Ensure financial information is processed accurately and consistently in conformity with company policy and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Provide general accounting support to department managers and supervisors
Administer the fixed asset database, including recording additions, disposals, and depreciation entries
Assist with cost accounting functions, including inventory reconciliation, variance analysis, standard costing, and reporting
Perform monthly customer invoicing and support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis to support timely and accurate financial reporting
Interact with internal and external auditors
Maintain Project Cost and ReQlogic users, permissions, projects, routings, and employee status updates
Prepare periodic management reports and provide accounting analysis and special project support as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree (Bachelor's of Science or Bachelor's of Arts) in Accounting or Finance
Two or more years of accounting experience
Knowledge of core accounting principles and GAAP
Experience supporting month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to prepare financial reports and analysis for management
Experience working with auditors and supporting audit requests
High sense of urgency with strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
