Responsibilities
Design analog and mixed-signal circuits for CMOS image sensors, including:
Pixel arrays and architectures
Column amplifiers
Analog-to-digital converters (ADCs)
Bias generators and reference circuits
Run detailed SPICE simulations
Perform corner analysis and Monte Carlo simulations
Temperature and process variation analysis
Noise analysis and optimization
Create and optimize analog circuit layouts
Ensure compliance with design rules
Perform parasitic extraction and post-layout simulations
Collaborate with digital design, system architecture, and test teams
Participate in design reviews
Support chip verification and validation
Improve sensor parameters like H-banding, noise, linearity, etc
Address cross-talk and other interference issues
Qualification
Required
Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field with a focus on mixed-signal circuit design
Digital MOS VLSI circuit design and layout; circuit simulation and synthesis
MOSFET operation and models; Elementary amplifier configurations; biasing and references; frequency response; noise; feedback; operational amplifiers; frequency compensation; non-linearity and mismatch; passive and active filters
System and transistor-level analysis and design of integrated circuits
Schematic design, simulation, layout, post-layout verification of analog, mixed signal integrated circuits
