Responsibilities
Collaboration with design management to actively gain experience, enhance design skills and increase knowledge of Nike's design philosophy, products and processes
Partner with category team members in design, development and merchandising to ensure feasibility of designs, meeting price point, merchandising needs and product creation timelines
Engage with project teammates on researching, gaining insights, problem solving around performance and manufacturing, working with consumers and creating a vast range of creative and beautiful solutions, that are also sustainable and considerate of cost
Participate and present the work in informal and formal reviews
Collaborate and engage the innovation partners and consumers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in design, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
2+ years of experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other products preferred
Ability to apply and perform design skills such as drawing/sketching, ideation, visual presentation development and layout
At least 2 years' experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other products
Passion for Culture, Music, Art, Sneakers, Streetwear
Strong Photoshop, Illustrator skills
Must be able to create accurate 2D technical drawings
Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
Must be able to generate a broad range of concepts and solutions for each project
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU MUST SUBMIT A FOOTWEAR DESIGN FOCUSED PORTFOLIO
Preferred
Cobbling and prototyping skills are a plus
3D knowledge, and AI experience a plus
Experience in technical footwear design - is a plus
Strong Photoshop, Illustrator skills
Must be able to build accurate 2D technical drawings (tech packs)

Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills
Experienced with presentation programs: Keynote, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc
