Responsibilities

Ensure customer satisfaction aligns with KEH’s Brand values while maintaining a positive, empathetic, and knowledgeable attitude towards customers
Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities as well as reach out to customers when requested items become available
Help customers with buying, selling and trading gear via phone calls and emails
Make gear suggestions and resolutions based on conversation with your customer
Troubleshoot customer issues
Follow-up on outstanding issues and requests
Respond to customer emails and voicemails in a timely manner while maintaining service levels
Help customers navigate digital interfaces
Manage orders on hold and take necessary steps to remove or delete orders
Maintain a positive, empathetic, and knowledgeable attitude towards customers
Achieve or exceed sales goals and SLAs
Adhere to KEH’s policies and procedures

Required

3–5 years in phone sales or a customer-facing sales role
Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication abilities
A passion for photography gear or a willingness to learn
High school diploma or GED required
Proven ability to provide exceptional service that aligns with brand values while maintaining a positive, empathetic, and knowledgeable demeanor
Experience building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify potential sales opportunities
Ability to effectively assist customers with buying, selling, and trading gear, offering tailored recommendations to meet their needs
Demonstrated ability to stay calm under pressure, troubleshoot complex customer inquiries with empathy and professionalism, resolve challenges efficiently, and provide clear solutions
Strong organizational skills to follow up on outstanding issues and promptly address customer concerns
Comfortable with navigating digital tools and interfaces to help customers manage orders and transactions and learn new systems quickly
Meticulous approach to managing orders, including taking necessary steps to resolve or remove holds, while adhering to company policies and procedures
Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets and service level agreements (SLAs)
Works effectively in a team environment, contributing ideas and feedback to improve processes and drive company success
Skilled at de-escalating tense situations and turning challenges into positive outcomes
Excellent at balancing multiple tasks, managing priorities, and staying organized in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with CRM, ERP systems, and contact center tools to manage customer interactions efficiently
Enthusiastic about learning new systems, tools, and industry trends, especially related to photography gear
Must be able to work 9:00 am – 6:00 pm EST, with the occasional Sat Shift from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
This is an on-location role
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
