Responsibilities
Lead implementation and deployment of PACS systems across various healthcare sites
Support new group integrations, ensuring seamless system transitions and optimal workflows
Troubleshoot modality-to-PACS connectivity, worklist configurations, and image routing challenges
Manage modality swaps and system upgrades with minimal disruption to clinical operations
Collaborate directly with radiology technologists to understand and optimize their daily workflows
Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects independently
Travel to project sites as needed (up to 25%)—bringing solutions directly where they're needed
Analyze complex technical issues, applying established procedures and technical expertise to resolve problems efficiently
Create clear, concise documentation that supports knowledge sharing and system continuity
Contribute to a collaborative team environment through effective knowledge transfer
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with Change Healthcare PACS and/or Merge PACS systems
Strong HL7/interface expertise
Deep understanding of radiology technologist workflows and clinical imaging environments
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision—self-motivated professionals thrive here
Excellent troubleshooting skills, particularly with modality integration challenges
Strong communication and organizational abilities
Working knowledge of healthcare IT platforms, products, and environments supporting clinical imaging
Awareness of emerging trends and technologies in Healthcare IT
Bachelor's degree required; Associate degree with equivalent hands-on experience considered
Preferred
Proficiency with both Change Healthcare and Merge PACS platforms
Experience with Hologic and TeraRecon systems
Extensive PACS experience (20+ years) may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
Familiarity with modality swaps, worklist troubleshooting, and image routing optimization
