Legal Operations eBilling Specialist
Legal.io is a company focused on legal operations, and they are seeking a Legal Operations eBilling Specialist to manage eBilling systems and support various operational tasks. The role involves overseeing the eBilling process, vendor management, knowledge management, and supporting workflow automation within the Legal department.

Responsibilities
EBilling & Matter Management (Brightflag): Support day-to-day management of the eBilling system, including matter creation, updates, and changes, creation and maintenance of custom fields, law firm/vendor onboarding, and responding to inquiries related to invoicing and timekeeper rates. Support the monthly accrual process and build/maintain ad hoc reports and dashboards for Finance, Legal leadership, and Operations. Manage Brightflag-related projects such as configuration changes, process improvements, and data clean-up
Procurement & Vendor Management (Zip / POs): Create and manage purchase orders in Zip, support the end-to-end process of vendor and contingent worker onboarding, and project manage the contract review process, ensuring smooth and timely execution
Intake & Triage (5%): Monitor and triage emails to company aliases, ensuring timely routing and follow-up
Knowledge Management & Policy Support: Update Legal Hub, SOPs, FAQ pages, and internal templates, and coordinate updates to the Legal website
Workflow & Automation Support: Build and maintain Legal workflows in Asana, simple automations or custom bots, and support onboarding and offboarding workflows for Legal systems and vendors
General Operations: Support cross-functional projects as needed, based on Legal department assessment findings, and perform ad hoc administrative and operational tasks to support the Legal team
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of relevant experience in legal operations with a focus on eBilling systems, particularly Brightflag
Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders
Experience with procurement and vendor management systems, such as Zip, and familiarity with contract review processes
Excellent communication skills and ability to triage and manage inquiries effectively
Proficiency in building workflows and automations using tools like Asana
Ability to support cross-functional projects and perform administrative tasks efficiently
