Responsibilities

Research, evaluate, validate, and recommend security technologies; support build, test, and implementation efforts
Provide daily operational support for Email Security and NAC platforms
Monitor systems, analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and resolve alerts and escalations
Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning
Manage system configurations, policies, and operational controls
Support incident response, remediation, and return-to-operation activities
Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal IT teams
Support security audits, threat and vulnerability assessments, and compliance activities
Develop and maintain operational documentation, procedures, and diagrams
Assist with disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution
Support security migrations, upgrades, and decommissioning efforts
Provide training and guidance to peers on security tools and processes

Required

Hands-on experience with Email Security and Network Access Control tools
Experience supporting enterprise operating systems including: Linux (Red Hat Enterprise), Windows Enterprise, macOS
Familiarity with host compliance, file integrity monitoring, and malware defense technologies
Experience troubleshooting security incidents and performing remediation
Understanding of vulnerability and patch management practices
4+ years of related IT experience
2+ years of cybersecurity experience
2+ years of IT infrastructure experience
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ownership mindset with the ability to drive work to completion
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience
Relevant cybersecurity or technical certification required
If certification is not currently held, the selected candidate will be expected to obtain an approved certification within six months of hire

SSCP preferred (or obtained within 180 days of full-time hire)
