They are seeking a motivated Ag Loan Officer to join their lending team, who will support agricultural customers by providing tailored lending solutions and building strong relationships.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and authorize agricultural loan applications by gathering required documentation and analyzing creditworthiness

Review title reports, surveys, and other documentation to identify potential risks

Compile loan packages and negotiate loan structures, including fees, repayment options, and credit terms

Ensure customers understand all conditions and terms of their accounts

Respond to inquiries regarding payments, payoffs, and loan values

Secure collateral and ensure proper documentation and insurance throughout the loan cycle

Collaborate with loan associates and credit analysts to maintain accuracy and compliance

Monitor delinquent accounts and determine appropriate collection actions

Develop new customer relationships and expand existing ones by offering solutions to business and personal financial needs

Act as a proactive resource in the field, providing advice to minimize risk and support client success

Required

Ability to develop and maintain a book of business ($15MM–$20MM)

Knowledge of agricultural operations and financial needs

Commitment to ethical practices and adherence to policies and procedures

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Effective problem-solving and judgment in loan structuring and risk assessment

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in finance, business, agriculture, or related field

Minimum of 2 years of lending experience; agricultural lending experience strongly preferred

Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
