Responsibilities

Provide administrative support for faculty and staff members
Process purchase orders, check requests, 4-H charges, and travel expense statements
Answer and direct phone calls, greet visitors, and serve as the unit’s primary point of contact
Maintain digital records
Review payroll for accuracy and process on a bi-weekly/monthly basis
Report mileage on departmental vehicles to satisfy vehicle reporting requirements
Complete and submit state equipment inventories
Assist Business Managers as needed
Maintain personnel databases and update listservs as employees are hired or terminated
Serve as departmental P-Card holder: submit pre-approvals, complete purchase transactions, reconcile monthly statements, and upload to Procurement
Assist faculty and Senior Business Manager with special projects, as needed
Other duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Reliability (in all aspects: tasks, time, assignments, deadlines, etc)

Communication and Interpersonal skills (ability to communicate effectively with others and get along with a variety of different types of personalities)
Initiative and Motivation – (independently knows when to take action and doesn't hesitate)
Possess good written and verbal skills
Basic computer proficiency
Excellent work ethic
Valid driver's license
