Responsibilities
Own the operations & maintenance performance of a live portfolio of energy and building infrastructure projects
Act as the owner’s representative during implementation and ongoing operations — coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out
Work directly with O&M providers, contractors, and vendors to resolve issues, optimize performance, and maintain uptime
Oversee measurement & verification (M&V) activities to ensure projects deliver against technical and financial expectations
Troubleshoot and optimize mechanical and electrical building systems (boilers, chillers, heat pumps, controls, etc.)
Manage contracts, scopes, schedules, and contractor performance in the field
Serve as the primary operational point of contact for assigned client accounts
Support due diligence and operational input for new projects and portfolio expansions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
3-4+ years of experience managing operations, maintenance, or execution of commercial or industrial building systems
Proven experience working with contractors, O&M teams, and vendors
Strong understanding of energy efficiency upgrades and building infrastructure
Comfortable managing multiple active projects and priorities
Clear communicator who can balance technical, operational, and client-facing responsibilities
