Responsibilities

Develop and maintain 3D piping layouts for process and heavy industrial systems, including pipe racks, equipment interconnects, and utility corridors
Perform detailed pipe stress analysis, load case development, and restraint evaluation for operating, thermal, wind, and seismic conditions
Design and coordinate pipe supports, anchors, guides, and restraints with structural and civil engineering teams
Prepare piping drawings, isometrics, stress calculations, support details, and IFC deliverables
Coordinate with process, mechanical, structural, and electrical disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure constructable designs
Support design reviews and address technical issues through the full design lifecycle

Required

US Citizenship or current Green Card (Permanent Residency)
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in industrial piping design and stress analysis
Direct experience on industrial, energy, or process-sector projects such as oil and gas, power generation, petrochemical, chemical, or similar heavy industrial facilities
Strong working knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and API piping codes and standards
Advanced proficiency with Caesar II for pipe stress analysis
Proficiency with AutoCAD
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, piping specifications, equipment layouts, and stress reports
Working knowledge of structural steel integration, pipe rack design, and support coordination
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
Typically 3–7 years of hands-on piping design and stress analysis experience in industrial or process-driven environments

Preferred

Experience with PDMS, SmartPlant 3D, and/or Navisworks strongly preferred
