Quality Engineer
SQA Services, Inc. is a leading provider of managed supplier quality services for nearly 30 years. They are seeking a Quality Engineer to conduct root cause investigations, develop corrective action plans, and collaborate with teams to enhance quality processes.

Responsibilities
Conduct Root Cause Investigations for customer-related Non-Conformances for machined components
Develop and maintain a corrective action follow-up plan, including maintenance and tracking of effectiveness
Effectively communicate on customer calls, providing updates on the investigations, corrective action plans, and status of the effectiveness check
Monitor and evaluate process indicators such as yield, takt time, and throughput during validation
Document findings and provide feedback/recommendations for corrective actions or improvements
Collaborate with the on-site team with regard to the implementation and monitoring of corrective actions, as well as review internal processes to determine if other areas of the business would benefit from the implementation of these corrective actions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field) or equivalent experience
3–5+ years of Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) or Quality Engineering experience, preferably with exposure to aerospace and automotive industries
Hands-on experience with Root Cause Investigation, Corrective Action Implementation, and Effectiveness Checks
Familiarity with process performance metrics (yield, takt time, throughput)
Ability to interpret and apply manufacturing standards and quality requirements
Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional and supplier engagement
Continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated ability to identify risks and implement sustainable controls
Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder) to comply with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
