Auxiliary Grants Professional Intern

Responsibilities

Identify federal, state, and private grant opportunities; prepare briefings summarizing eligibility, deadlines, and alignment with Auxiliary Services needs
Draft, proof, and format proposal sections; develop attachments including project descriptions, capability statements, and supporting documentation
Gather required project data, budgets, metrics, forms, and supporting materials; assist with checklists and pre-submission compliance reviews
Maintain organized grant status trackers, calendars, and digital files; assist with meeting coordination and deadline management

Required

Currently enrolled in University of Georgia with major in Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, English/Communications, Business, Public Health, Environmental Sciences, or related fields
Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize information are essential for success in this role
