Responsibilities

Provides leadership and oversight of facility operations supporting Ridgeview Arlington and LeSueur Medical Centers within the Facilities Management department. Supports the department director through development programs, goals and objectives consistent with those of the organization's overall strategic plan and initiatives
Manages staff resources by overseeing the recruiting, selecting, hiring and orienting qualified individuals. Evaluates staff performance in an accurate, consistent, objective and timely manner. Develops core position hiring strategies and ensures opportunities for professional development. Creates a cohesive team committed to providing distributive, clinical and service quality to all customers
Develops and manages capital and expense plans within the budget for assigned locations
As assigned, ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulatory agency standards and applicable internal plans, policies and procedures
Maintains required competencies and/or knowledge in accord with scope and responsibility of the position
May participate on organizational and medical staff committees and serve as a professional resource for physicians, clinicians and leadership. May also collaborate with physicians and clinicians regarding facility-related programs and services
Proactively identifies and acts upon quality improvement projects and opportunities through observation, data analysis, engagement with partners, review of external impact factors and best practices, as well as ongoing communication with leadership and staff
Responsible for development, coordination and management of emergency operations practice to ensure utility reliability and support of facility operations during times of critical need
Responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, and image of the building, grounds and equipment in accordance with all the applicable regulatory agencies, codes and Ridgeview policies following established value-based assessments, tools, and/or models
Engagement in, and potential ownership of, facility projects to include coting, coordination and supervision of constructions, renovation and relocation initiatives
Oversee the purchasing of supplies and equipment used in department activities, as well as repair parts for all other departments
Collaborates with department director and other department managers to build support for facilities related questions
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Associate's degree or equivalent and relevant work experience
7+ years' experience in facility management
3+ years in Health Care
5+ years of demonstrated supervision and leadership experience
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop team
Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence to complete job functions as mentioned above
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong understanding of plant and technology operations
Strong computer hardware and software skills
Ability to work autonomously and as a team
Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion related to the position
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple adjusting tasks and priorities
Ability to efficiently and effectively manage internal and external resources
Ability to develop and manage financial plans
State of Minnesota Special Boilers License
Valid MN driver's license and meets Ridgeview's insurability requirements
Obtain Asbestos Awareness Certification within 1 year of employment
Obtain OSHA Certification within 1 year of employment

Bachelor's degree
CHFM or FMA certification
CPR Certification
