Responsibilities
Maintain and support the Product Information Management (PIM) database
Test all programs and/or databases correcting errors and making necessary modifications
Coordinate and implement data updates to all AM sales tools as needed
Modify existing databases and database management systems and make relevant changes for positive impact
Work closely with Database Specialist to jointly manage PIM projects/tickets to ensure timely completion
Work with other departments to determine relevant material(s) and database needs
Support the marketing and services team on product projects as needed
Maintain and import product information for new and existing products into PIM
Ensure accuracy of data by working closely with PM responsible
Perform audits of data. Maintain data sheets, CAD files; ensure all aligned to products/categories are maintained and accurate with assistance of PM
Active member of global PIM CCB for data cleansing, and improvements to database organization
Create/deliver customized mapping files, exports to customers as requested
Participate in global team meetings to develop, enhance and maintain the PIM system
Assist with product installation instructions in PIM by collecting all necessary product information by working closely with PM and ensure data is properly loaded into database
Assist with annual/bi-annual product price increase process to ensure completed in timely manner and data transferred into PIM accurately
Manage web shop product/pricing issues ensuring accurate and timely resolution
Provide assistance during PGPL development including product and terminology review
Active member SAP project team to improve customer facing, manage PO tool and Basic Data Text in SAP
Work with 3rd party vendor and Product Management to ensure timely creation of CAD files and properly upload such files into database once complete/verified
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in related field
Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience; knowledge of database structure / design
Proficiency in Microsoft Office – specifically Microsoft Excel; PC-literate
Detailed oriented is a must
Technically savvy and detailed oriented, with a high level of workmanship
Creative collaboration as part of a team
Results oriented and project management skills required
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Excels in fast paced environment and able to quickly adapt to change
Demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication, writing and creative skills
Preferred
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is a plus
