Prince Contracting, LLC is seeking a Surveyor II for surveying on highway and roadway construction projects. The role involves operating surveying instruments, compiling data, and assisting the Survey Manager with layout and measurements.

Responsibilities

The daily maintenance and preparation of surveying equipment and vehicle
Provides assistance to Survey Manager in regard to layout and measurements
Operating GPS, Trimble, and Total station equipment
Maintaining all surveying supplies
Comparing survey computations with applicable standards to determine the accuracy of data
Equipment verification once a month
Attends safety meetings and training
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Minimum of 4+ years of survey experience on highway/roadway construction projects
Entry-level experience with CADD programs is required
Must be able to communicate effectively in English or Spanish, due to the nature of the job
Must be able to lift 25 to 50 lbs. several times a day
Must be able to work overtime and be flexible with hours. (daytime/nighttime)
Ability to work in a team environment
Must be accustomed to working in an outside environment
Must work well under pressure
Must possess and maintain a clean Florida driver's license

Preferred

A High School diploma is highly preferred
