Responsibilities

Coordinate and implement HR administrative processes, and provide support to all L&D activities
Proceed with all day-to-day administrative tasks related to L&D and Development Programs locally and regionally
Coordinate and support all functions of the locally and regional Cooperative Education Program
Analyze and evaluate functional issues within employee management, select appropriate procedures and take decisions to solve them
Provide functional advice on HR-related matters to employees
Act as key user for function related administration systems - LMS, RED, etc
Provide guidance to less experienced Administrators
Monitor the quality and effectiveness of measures offered, and propose program changes if necessary
Support the strategy for Development Programs for the Americas. This should include Internships, Dual Students, Co-ops, and ALPs
Represent Schaeffler in the community for organizations relating to workforce development
Support and execute the organization of the University Relations Program in establishing presence and network of the selected schools. Re-evaluate the partnerships annually
Align with the business on Subject Matter experts and Sponsorships to support student-driven projects
Engage in collaboration with Universities to build strong co-op program and partnerships
Support or organize training and management development programs
Prepare qualification surveys, organize assessment programs and complete related administration and filing of respective documentation
Maintain contacts with external providers, check service offerings and manage all administrative relations
Maintain information regarding the budget and headcount and manage the expenses of University Relations and Co-op programs
Oversee key performance indicators on implementation of the above initiatives

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a business related discipline
1 to 3 years experience
Must have demonstrated experience in the ability to take ownership, and to exercise a very high degree of individual initiative, organization and creativity
Ability to establish trust and a reputation for discretion, sound judgment and advice as well as build rapport across the organizational levels
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including persuasive negotiation skills and presentation skills
Must be proficient in the use of MS Office software with advanced level Excel Skills
Experience in Success Factors Performance and Goals Management Module and Succession and Development Module and Recruitment Module
Must be willing and able to travel as required by the job
