Responsibilities
Manage parking operations at the Dental School
Managing contract employee on-boarding, replacement, and invoicing
Manage insurance credentialing for faculty and students
Manage advertising as required by the UMKC Diversity recruitment plan
Create and Distribute monthly, quarterly and annual reports
Assist with Payroll Reconciliation, purchasing and deposits as needed
Assist Building Coordinator with facilities issues
Provide administrative support the Assistant Dean for Engagement and Wellness
Handling the office phone, greeting and directing faculty, students, staff and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Provide information by answering questions and requests
Organizing and scheduling meetings
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired
Preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Friendly and professional demeanor
Proficient with MS Office Suite and database software (e.g., PeopleSoft)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and take on additional responsibilities
Previous administrative experience
Accounts payable or receivable
Project management skills
