Responsibilities

Become part of the investment process
Meet with prospective new investments
Participate in every aspect of due diligence, including reference calls and market analyses
Assist in identifying and sourcing new investment opportunities
Financial analysis of investments and company operations
Participate in investment scrum and entrepreneur/pitch meetings
Work directly with portfolio companies
Help companies in various short engagements (e.g. pitch decks, market sizing, pricing analysis, operating modeling, etc.)
Special projects that may include some mix of
Deep dives into emerging technologies, developer ecosystems, or AI-native business models
Market and portfolio meta-analyses to help shape firm-level theses
Identifying and cultivating relationships with relevant market experts and entrepreneurs
Presenting insights back to the broader Costanoa team

Qualification

Required

Currently pursuing an MS/MBA or BS/BA in computer science, engineering, business, finance, or a related field
Passion for and strong knowledge of technology and startups
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
Role will be onsite in our San Francisco office
