Senior Survey Project Manager

The Senior Survey Project Manager will manage the surveying department, coordinating with various teams, agencies, and clients to ensure successful project execution across multiple areas.

Responsibilities
The applicant should have experience in all aspects of Land Surveying including, but not limited to: Boundary surveys, topographic surveys, tree surveys, ALTA surveys, construction staking, regulatory compliance
Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed
Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites
Direct or conduct surveys in order to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles
Record the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features
Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain
Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys
Consulting with clients to understand their needs, provide information about surveying services, and communicate findings and recommendations effectively
Ensure that surveys comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as accuracy standards and professional ethics codes
Qualification
Required
SC Registered Professional Land Surveyor license is required
Ten or more years experience in the Surveying field
Travel will be required as necessary
Functionally proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications
Functional knowledge of AutoCAD is required
Ensuring all surveys comply with relevant laws, regulations, and professional ethics standards
Ability to work independently or on a team
Ability to work within budget and schedule constraints on multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient written & oral communication skills; ability to comfortably interact with peers, staff members, clients, and the public is required
Staying updated on advancements in surveying technology, techniques, and regulations through ongoing education and professional development
Ability to manage and schedule all surveying related work tasks efficiently
Preferred
Experience in using additional industry-standard design and modeling software (ICPR, StormCAD)
Proficiency in AutoCAD
