Responsibilities

Maintains a routine schedule and proper documentation pertaining to the cleaning and sanitization of clinical devices in accordance with all manufacture recommendations (IFUs), infection control policies, and regulatory guidelines

Initiates and proactively identifies, evaluates, and resolves minor maintenance and sanitation/cleaning issues pertaining to the high use clinical devices

Routinely inspects high use clinical devices for minor repairs and annual preventive maintenance and notifies the appropriate department to address when required

Provides assistance with the distribution, minor maintenance, sanitization, tracking, and retrieval of clinical equipment throughout multiple facilities and departments and in accordance with established processes and policies

Wears protective clothing as required by the work environment and regulatory agencies

Communicates effectively with other staff members

Completes task as assigned independently

Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal and local laws

Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures

Required

Must be able to speak, read, and understand basic English

One year industrial, healthcare, or related experience

Preferred

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

One year customer service experience or related experience
