The role involves establishing a successful research program in immunobiology and contributing to graduate and medical education, along with departmental service.

Responsibilities
Establish or continue a successful, extramurally funded research program that will advance knowledge in the broad areas of immunobiology, as defined above
Develop and sustain productive interactions with biomedical investigators in the department, the College of Medicine-Tucson, and the University of Arizona
Promote and strengthen interdisciplinary training by contributing to graduate (M.Sc./Ph.D.) and/or medical (M.D.) education
Provide institutional service in the Department of Immunobiology
Additional duties may be assigned
Qualification
Required
PhD and/or MD or equivalent degree
Peer-reviewed publications in nationally recognized journals and expertise in any field related to immunology, microbiology, parasitology, infectious diseases, and cancer biology
For Associate level or above, active funding in the above
