Responsibilities
Support the translation of creative livery concepts into accurate CATIA design files that are production-ready
Take ownership of assigned project deliverables, ensuring precision, consistency, and on-time completion
Communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners to confirm expectations and resolve questions
Uphold Teague’s standards of professionalism, collaboration, and reliability while maintaining strong working relationships across disciplines
Interpret creative design data and anticipate potential challenges related to geometry, scale, or paint application
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving to balance creative vision with production feasibility
Participate in team discussions to improve processes, tool use, and workflow efficiency
Demonstrate curiosity and initiative in learning new technical approaches, workflows, and aircraft-specific details
Create and modify 3D CATIA geometry, digital mylars, and technical drawings that support aircraft paint application
Translate 2D artwork into accurate 3D layouts while ensuring alignment with design intent and engineering references
Collaborate effectively with designers, engineers, and vendors to coordinate deliverables and confirm technical accuracy
Support production reviews as needed, assisting in verifying that final paint layouts match approved designs
Maintain organized files, data accuracy, and adherence to Teague’s documentation and retention standards
Qualification
Required
Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field such as Drafting, Mechanical Design, Aerospace Technology, Engineering Graphics, or Computer-Aided Design (CAD) — or equivalent professional experience
1–4+ years of experience working in CATIA V5 or similar 3D CAD systems, ideally in aerospace, automotive, or large-scale surface modeling environments
Strong understanding of geometric accuracy, data structure, and 3D-to-2D translation principles
Excellent attention to detail, organizational habits, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners
Eagerness to learn and grow technical fluency in aircraft livery and paint-production workflows
Ability and willingness to travel occasionally for production support
Due to regulatory requirements tied to the nature of our client work, this position is limited to U.S. persons
Preferred
Experience working with Product Data Management (PDM) systems preferred
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office for visualization, documentation, and communication tasks
