Responsibilities

Serve as a key HR contact for warehouse leadership, providing guidance on performance management, employee relations, staffing, and engagement initiatives
Partner with operations leaders to align workforce planning, staffing, and retention strategies with business goals
Support a positive and productive workplace culture through proactive communication and engagement programs
Advise managers on employee relations matters and ensure fair, consistent application of company policies
Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actions as needed
Support compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including recordkeeping, attendance, and training documentation
Maintain accuracy in HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft or similar), including onboarding, data changes, and terminations
Partner with payroll and timekeeping teams to ensure accurate reporting and timely resolution of discrepancies
Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee questions
Support recruiting efforts by partnering with hiring managers and assisting with interviews, onboarding, and new hire orientations
Track and analyze HR metrics such as turnover, headcount, and absenteeism to identify trends and recommend actions
Facilitate performance evaluations, development planning, and succession readiness discussions
Act as a trusted resource for employees, providing guidance on benefits, policies, and professional development
Participate in safety meetings, employee recognition programs, and site-level engagement initiatives
Collaborate with regional HR and corporate teams on cross-site HR projects and process improvements

Required

1+ years of Human Resources experience or related HR support role
Comfortable working in a warehouse or logistics environment
Flexibility to support various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnights
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
2+ years of HR generalist or HRBP experience in logistics, manufacturing, or warehouse operations
Experience using HRIS and payroll systems
Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity
