FirstIgnite is developing a best-in-class software tool in the commercialization and innovation space. The Full-Stack Developer is responsible for maintaining the existing SaaS product, implementing user feedback, and working on projects that will reshape the research ecosystem.

Design client-side and server-side architecture
Build front-end applications that conform to design standards
Ability to jump between front-end and back-end work
Pursue a project from conception to finished product
Design and develop APIs for internal use

Proficient in the use of LLMs, including prompt engineering and RAG techniques
Proficient in using vector databases
Proficient in fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Proficient in server-side languages, including PHP
Proficient with unit testing
Experience planning and implementing full-stack web-centric software architecture
Experience integrating multiple data sources/systems for consumption by content-rich websites
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js and React
Experience with web frameworks, including Laravel
Experience with CSS frameworks (Bulma, Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc)
Experience with SQL Databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc)
Experience with graph databases, mainly Neo4j
Experience with Node.js
Experience with build tools such as Webpack
Experience with virtualization tools (Docker, Vagrant, etc)
Comfort with and understanding of version control, continuous integration, and deployment tools

Preferred

Experience with Google Vertex AI preferred but not necessary
Familiar with CSS preprocessors (SCSS, Less, etc)
