Responsibilities

Lead efforts to scale metrics and storage systems to meet the needs of advanced customers

Set technical direction, balancing near-term deliverables with long-term architectural improvements

Partner with product, revenue, and engineering teams to evolve the platform and ensure it meets customer demands

Help mentor engineers and drive best practices across the organization

Required

4+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on data platforms and/or distributed systems

Strong software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Go, TypeScript, etc.)

Experience designing and scaling customer-facing APIs in production, ideally leveraging systems such as MySQL, Postgres, Clickhouse, Bigtable, Pub/Sub, or Kafka

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and at least one major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
