Responsibilities

The Assistant Program Director- Unit Manager is responsible for the quality delivery and oversight of the treatment, educational, vocational and student health and welfare services in accordance with Rite of Passage policies and procedures as-well-as federal, state, and local rules, regulations, licensing, practices and laws

In the absence of the Program Director, this position is responsible for the day-to-day site operations, administrative oversight for the site, and leader of the site management team

This position ensures that the Mission and Values of ROP are represented in every facet under his/her organizational control

The Assistant Program Director develops, implements, manages and modifies the Rite of Passage program, and is responsible for: OPERATIONS: Site operations, policies and procedures; Educational/vocational departments; Safety, health and welfare of staff and students; Clinical services, education, vocation and health and welfare “Best”; Chairperson for site Management Meeting; Oversees delivery of the Rite of Passage daily program

FINANCE: Assists the Program Director with managing the budget, site expenditures, Position Control Roster, and reporting

HUMAN RELATIONS: Training and continuous development of site management team. Ensure training compliance (Pre-Service, Ops, OJT, and In-Service). Employee Evaluation Discipline and/or corrective action; Ensures proper staffing levels are maintained within established Position Control Roster standards
