They are seeking an Entry Level CAD Drafter to produce architectural contract drawings and specifications for telecommunications projects, ensuring coordination with various disciplines and compliance with quality systems.

Responsibilities

Production of architectural contract drawings and specifications for multiple telecommunications projects
Coordination of structural, mechanical, electrical drawings and specifications with architectural contract documents for telecommunication facilities
Conduct site research, both desktop as well as physically visiting site locations as needed
Consult with municipalities to determine site specific jurisdictional requirements
Ensure that drawings are checked, approved and filed in accordance with company quality system

Required

At least 6 months' experience with AutoCAD
Technical or vocational training in drafting technology
Proficient in AutoCAD
Knowledge of MS Office, MS Word & MS Excel
Understanding of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical disciplines and capability of coordinating drawing production for these disciplines
Strong organizational, written and communication skills
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Team-based and fast paced work environment
Overtime required as needed to meet client deadlines
