Responsibilities

Manage program‑dedicated quality engineers
Allocate resources to support all production programs
Develop and execute strategies that raise production‑process efficiency, ensuring on‑time, on‑cost deliveries that meet program and customer requirements
Oversee production quality engineering, skills training, metrology, inspection, QMS compliance, and supply‑chain quality
Support corrective‑action boards and quality initiatives for programs and mission areas
Partner with Production Operations, Engineering & Technology, PP&C, and Program Management as an active Integrated Product Team member
Interface with peer managers, industry contacts, and customer representatives on technical, schedule, and contractual matters
Conduct briefings and technical meetings for internal and external audiences
Lead resolution of critical/complex technical or operational issues to keep schedules on track
Develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance standards
Influence the definition of organizational objectives and long‑range goals

Required

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
5 + years in manufacturing or related fields
Proven ability to perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions on high‑volume, high‑mix production lines
Lean Six‑Sigma Certification (Green or Black Belt) with documented business‑performance improvements
Expert‑level proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, etc.)
Experience evaluating and inserting new technologies into existing manufacturing processes
Circuit‑card, wire‑harness, and electro‑optical production experience
Able to obtain a Secret clearance
