Setting up a new provider
Contract review (in conjunction with NA W&D Manager)
Operational reviews & issues
Performance monitoring & improvement (in conjunction with NA W&D Manager)
Cost improvement
Change Management
Inventory Control
Process Audits
Invoice validation
Cross Functional Support
Qualification
Required
Self-motivated, well organized team player, able to work under pressure
Daily attendance is expected at our Plainfield distribution center
Must be proficient at using Microsoft office suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
Logistics Market Knowledge (3PL's, freight carriers, equipment providers)
Knowledge of Warehouse / Transport / Custom operations
Familiar with WMS / ERP systems (SAP preferred)
5+ years of experience in warehouse management
Project management experience
Experience in Lean techniques / Problem Solving
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent workplace experience required
