Responsibilities

Teaming with the Tb&S Hardware Engineers for:
System requirements understanding of our simulation products
Understanding TB&S testbed architecture and developing signal channelization lists, wire diagrams, and top level designs
Designing custom harness and cable designs
Designing Custom Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA)
Engineering Liaison with technicians during fabrication
Troubleshooting design equipment
Writing and executing Equipment Functional Checkout Procedures (EFCP)
Collaboration across the different Tb&S teams and program teams
Effectively communicate and coordinate with software/hardware leads within the Product Line

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in a field related to Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience with a strong foundation in electronics principles, theories, and practices, demonstrating expertise and knowledge comparable to a degree in the discipline
Minimum of 2 years professional experience in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
Experience troubleshooting/debugging electronics
Experience using laboratory test equipment for hardware debugging, such as: oscilloscopes, digital multimeters and protocol analyzers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Project, Word and Excel applications
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Preferred

Experience writing and executing test procedures
Electronic circuit design experience
Experience troubleshooting hardware, such as: cable setups, PWB/PCB, Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) and a variety of electronic equipment
Experience with cable/harness design
Experience with electronic circuit design in areas such as analog, digital, microcontroller, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), and/or power supply circuits
Experience developing software using text based languages, such as: Python, C/C++/C#, or Visual Basic
Experience with Unix/Linux environments
Experience with software configuration management tools such as Git or Subversion
Experience with Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design and schematic design
Experience with PWB/PCB design
Experience generating a BOM (Bill of Materials) of required components/parts
Experience working with vendors for fabrication, assembly, and parts procurement
Experience in hardware/software integration and troubleshooting the integration
Experience with hardware development life cycle: requirements, design, development, integration, test, and maintenance
Willingness to learn new environments and work independently in a fast-paced development environment
