Responsibilities

Conducts engineering investigations and plans work by completing well defined tasks including collection and analysis of data; performs routine calculations and participates in evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions
Prepares or directs preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, and designs for project
Prepares and updates schedules to advance the project
Collaborates with clients, sub-consultant partners, technical staff, and managers across multiple disciplines to develop quality deliverables within schedule and budgetary requirements
Directs and mentors support staff

Required

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Professional Registration, PE
7 - 15+ years in field related work experience
Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
Experience designing capacity projects for FDOT and/or tolling authorities such as CFX, Florida's Turnpike Enterprise, THEA etc
Management duties include budgeting, scheduling, job tracking, client interaction, and staff management
Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to forge strong relationships with clients, professionals and your team members
Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required
